Body found, eight taken into custody in Karachi

KARACHI: A decomposed body was found in a residential building near Nagin Chowrangi area, in the wee hours of Thursday.

Initial investigation suggests that the body is estimated to be ten to fifteen days old and the cause of death was strangulation, said police authorities.

Meanwhile, at least eight suspects were arrested by the law enforcement authorities after overnight raids at Bufferzone, Pak Colony, Ferrer Colony, Surjani Town and Baldia Town Madina Colony. The motive behind their arrest was not disclosed.
